Abstract: The change of Hani people’s marriage customs represents not only that of one ethnic group’s, but also the evolution and development of the national culture in the process of modernization. By studying the change of the marriage form of the Hani nationality, the improvement of its autonomy, the turning of standardization and the change of utility, it is found that it objectively shows the influence of the social structure change on the national values. Based on the process of Hani people’s marriage custom from traditional to modern, from “one” to “diversified”, research and analysis of the structure, characteristics and changes of Hani group’s values plays an important role in realizing the harmonious development of the whole nation.
