Investigation of Fathers' Participation in the Kindergarten Parent-Child Games

Abstract: This paper, with kindergarten parent-child games as the breakthrough point, mainly studies fathers' understanding, participation frequency and mode, motivation influencing factors of kindergarten parent-child games through literature analysis, questionnaire, on-the-spot observation method. It is found that there are three common problems with regard to fathers' participation in kindergarten parent-child games: indifference to the games; weak participation consciousness; low participation frequency and single participation way of the fathers. In view of some representative, authoritative and practical research results home and abroad, as well as the current situation, some operable strategies are put forward to promote the fathers' participation in the kindergarten parent-child games so as to guarantee children's growth.
