The Topic Sentence of Taliu Language

Abstract: Taliu language takes “bɔ55” as its topic marker, and belongs to a language which has topic structure. Subject, object, adverbial can be used as its topic structures. Topic marker of Taliu is versatile for it can be used as modal particle, orientation particle, location particle and so on. “bɔ55” is also used to remark the topic in special sentence patterns, such as copy-sentences and the relative clauses where agent-patient is located in the front of sentence.
