Abstract: The book Study on Men of Letters in Jiangxi Province in Yuan Dynasty written by Lichao is a book with a deep touch of history. It carries an exquisite sense of literature and maintains a sacred sense of responsibility. In a word, this book is a recurrence of Jiangxi province's literature in Yuan dynasty. Although this book studies local literature on the ground of territory, it is not a product of research strategy. It sheds some light on the ways of studying and thinking about Chinese ancient literature.
