Abstract: Strengthening ideological and political education is crucial to the formation of teenagers’ world outlook, outlook on life and values. In order to implement the goal of “cultivate talents of high moral standards”, ideological and political lessons should use the thought of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era to cast the soul to educate people, cultivate students’ political beliefs and ideals, implement scientific teaching strategies, and let students have “feeling”, “understanding”, “thinking”, and “action”.
