Ouyang Xiu's official career started with the collation of the pavilions. The elegant atmosphere of the pavilions shaped Ouyang Xiu's personality of advocating "elegance", established Ouyang Xiu's implicit and elegant style of Ci, and finally made him determine the aesthetic ideal of "elegant songs of hermit".
