Abstract: Advanced manufacturing base is an important carrier for the development of advanced manufacturing industry in a region. Qujing's industry has achieved great leap forward development and the manufacturing industry has formed a system, but the "four types" of manufacturing industry are still obvious: heavy chemical industry, low and middle end type, small and scattered type and endogenous type. To build an advanced manufacturing base in Qujing, we should focus on "high-end, green and intelligent" and follow the idea of "4 + 3 + 8", implement the five improvements, highlight planning guidance, clarify industrial positioning, improve carrier energy level, promote innovation and deepen opening-up cooperation, build an advanced manufacturing system with better structure, higher quality and better benefits to build an advanced manufacturing base in Yunnan Province.
