Following Development Laws to Construct Qujing as a Provincial Sub-central City in Yunnan

Abstract: Originated from Hubei province in central China in 2003, thirty-eight provincial sub-central cities have been established throughout China, several practical laws of development have been established such as the law of the multifunction of sub-central cities, the law of the variation evolution of the urban leading industry functions, the law of the increase of urban economic development and upgrading, the law of the siphoning effect of urban economy, and the law of innovation-driven economic development and many others. As a later developed sub-central city in Yunnan, only by closely following the development laws of provincial sub-central city construction can Qujing be built into a major provincial sub-central city with strong economic capacity, a wide range of radiation, a high level of innovation-driven development, striking advantages and distinctive features as well as an outstanding effect of siphoning for the purpose of the great leap progress of Qujing .
