An Empirical Analysis of the Dynamics of New Urbanization in China ——Based on the provincial panel data model

Abstract: This paper is based on Northam's law, combined with the practice of urbanization in China, the development of urbanization is divided into three distinct phases after reform and opening up:initial stage、middle and early stage、middle and late stag, and establish a panel data model to empirically test the development momentum of different stages of urbanization.The results show:In the initial stage of urbanization development, industrialization promotes economic growth, and the characteristics of economic growth driving urbanization are more obvious;When the development of urbanization enters the middle and early stage, the development of service industry can effectively promote the optimization of China's economic structure, and then promote the rise of urbanization.When the development of urbanization enters the middle and late stages, human capital accumulation will improve the level of China's economic service, and further promote the construction of new urbanization.Finally, this paper proposes corresponding policy recommendations.
