Abstract: Based on Yunnan Provincial A-level Scenic Spot Directory and Baidu Map Open Platform, taking the national A-level tourist attractions of Yunnan Province as research object, the actual situation, the patterns and the law of the attractions' spatial distribution were analyzed by using quantitative methods such as the nearest neighbor index, geography concentrate index and Geordie Coefficient, etc. Analysis results shows that: First, the spatial distribution pattern is “big area, little region”, namely the obvious strip shaped and dotted aggregation from the perspective of province, and the “small agglomeration” from the perspective of prefecture. Secondly, the regional difference was significant, showing that attractions located in the middle and northwest of Yunnan are concentrated, while attractions in the east and southwest of Yunnan are geographically dispersed, and this feature would be more obvious considering high-level scenic spots. Third, the scenic spot distribution is too concentrated, and the higher the level of tourist attractions, the higher the degree of spatial aggregation.
