Abstract: The “rising of studies of Chinese ancient civilization” arouses people’s nature and consciousness. The classics which firstly aroused people’s nature and consciousness is the Standards for Being a Good Student, an original children’s enlightening reading. The morals in the Standards for Being a Good Student are not well mastered by many students and some adults, however. Some Buddhist professors even compared the Standards for Being a Good Student with Imperial Collection of Four. The educational ideas as teaching materials, value orientation, teaching contents, teaching principles and learning methods are of great importance and wisdoms of Confucius cultures. Knowing the educational significance in the Standards for Being a Good Student from the pedagogical perspective will promote the studies and communication of the Standards for Being a Good Student.
