Abstract: The urban resilience index system is built based on the concept of toughness and the social, economic, ecological data from 2007 to 2020 by using TOPSIS model. The results show that the social and economic resilience in all the districts and counties Qujing is increasing steadily. In particular, the ecological resilience is fluctuating while the social and economic resilience is steadily increasing. There is great difference in the comprehensive urban resilience and specific resilience. For the comprehensive resilience, Qilin District is the highest followed by Xuanwei and Zhanyi, and Malong is the lowest; as for the economic, socialresilience, Qilin District is still the highest while the top three in the ecological resilience are Xuanwei, Shizhong, and Malong. In the spatial differentiation pattern, the toughness level of Qujing city shows the unbalanced degree of convergence and dispersion and the urban resilience gradually gathers to the areas with high cluster index, and the regions with high cluster index are distributed in the central and eastern regions.
