Integrating Engineering Ethics into Courses of Engineering under the Background of Ideological and Political Education

Abstract: Engineering ethics education is an important part of ideological and political construction under the background of new engineering disciplines, and it is still in its infancy in our country. In June 2020,Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of Chinastated that for engineering professional coursesit is necessary to strengthen the engineering ethics education. Aiming at the cultivation ofcollege students in the field of engineering management and engineering cost, this paper analyzesthe problems existing in the current engineering ethics course, and discusses the teaching methods, teachingcases, course contents, and assessment methods in order to provide reference for the construction of engineeringethics course for college students in the field of engineering management and engineering cost.
