Abstract: Empowering the professional development of university teachers with the spirit of educators is essential for building a strong country in education. Anchoring the spirit of educators can empower the professional development of university teachers, and explain its logical basis from the perspectives of fundamental philosophical categories such as epistemology, ontology, and praxis. The spirit of educators empowers the professional development of university teachers, which is a generative and systematic process that forms the operational mechanisms of cognition, will, emotion, and practice at the natural level. To this end, establishing a coordinated thinking concept, constructing diverse subject participation, and optimizing a scientific evaluation system should be the practical action direction for educators to empower the professional development of university teachers.
