The Writing of Yunnan Border Culture in Zeng Zhaolun's Diary of Myanmar Frontier

Abstract: Zeng Zhaolun's Diary of Myanmar Frontier is a travel diary about Yunnan border areas during the Anti Japanese war. The journey starts from Kunming, passes through Chuxiong, Xiaguan, Baoshan, Longling, and ends at Mangshi. He studied the history and culture of Yunnan's border areas as a scientist and an outsider. The diary makes a detailed investigation of local traffic culture, daily life customs and Tusi culture in Yunnan's border areas, and shows the regional, ethnic, diversity and class characteristics of Yunnan's border culture, which has important cognitive value and historical value.
