Abstract: The Frontier Literature and Art is one of the earliest literary journals published after the founding of the People's Republic of China. And it participated in, recorded and witnessed the construction subjectivity of Yunnan Ethnic Literature in the 1950s-1960s.Through certain publishing strategies, the literary journal objectively achieved certain effects on combinations of the socialist revolution with the subjectivity construction of Yunnan national literature, and reserves space for the “artistic standard” under the regulation of the “political standard”. During the process, The Frontier Literature and Art promotes the generation and development of the characteristics of Yunnan ethnic literature. The unique marginal experience makes it has been special text of literature symptom in Seventeen Years.
