Abstract: In 2016, after the goal of building Qujing into an international plateau sports city was put forward, Qujing has made many useful explorations on the integration of sports and tourism. It realizes the original idea of “transformation and leapfrog development”, strengthens the confidence of building “International Highland Sports City”, and demonstrates the determination, focus and perseverance of building “International Highland Sports City”. Qujing should promote the development of sports and tourism integration from four aspects: product system, service system, infrastructure and marketing.
