Abstract: Nizan is the most famous painter with the style of yipin in the history of Chinese scholarly landscape painting. The style of yipin in NI Zang’s painting can be described as implicit, quiet, light, free and easy, it is the perfect combination of personality characteristic and temperament of?living simply and gently, the aloneness penetrating in his painting is hard to be touched by other painters. This paper interprets the unique views of yiqi and yibi in his aesthetic thought, and the three phase of picture composition ,“a river and both side”.
