Abstract: Chang'an city is a cradle of significant novels and their authors in Five Periods after Tang Dynasty. Research on Novels of Chang'an City in Five Periods after Tang Dynasty written by Zhang Tongli was endowed with great significance, which elaborated the value of these novels for describing culture of Chang'an city.
