Abstract: The advantages for developing cultures of pottery and porcelain in Qujing are its rich manufacturing materials，mature technology，long history，profitable consuming market and effective transporting system．At present，the problems for developing the cultures are scattering manufacturing workshops，products of low quality; small profit space and low quality of cultures． The cultures can be developed through the market operation with the help of government's support，construction of the industrial basis with high standard，the addictive value of the products with innovation，improvement of the quality of the products with technology，fashionable products and sound developing system and scientific development．
