Abstract: Based on the first-hand materials obtained from field investigations, the research finds that the the language life of the Hani nationality in Nimei Village is characterized with all people using their mother tongue stably, weak differences in the mastery of mother tongue vocabulary in different age groups, and different age groups using Chinese to some degree and that the language life in the village belongs to the harmonious type. Hani language and Chinese perform their duties and the language attitude is inclusive and open. The linguistic relationship of the Hani nationality in Nimei Village belongs to bilingual harmony.
