Abstract: Xie Yuli wrote seven poems about Shan Xi in six years, which did not get special research on these poems. The style of his poems were clear, elegant and sprightly. The cultural significance lies in Xie YuLi’s making good relationships with other writers through writing literary works, joining in cultural undertakings. The poem Close to Forest Spring has become a symbol of the ethnic minority personalization, representing the emergence of the ethnic community consciousness of the ethnic minority intellectuals. Therefore, the minority group of scholars represented by Xie YuLi’s acceptance, identification and dissemination of Confucian culture was a epitome of the integration of national culture. The change of local social structure, the spread of culture, and the promotion of social enlightenment brought about by this process, providing a historical reference for casting fast the current Chinese national community consciousness, and promoting exchanges and integration among ethnic groups.
