Abstract: The left-behind elderly are a huge group in the process of urbanization. The living conditions of the left-behind elderly are related to the stable development of rural society, the process of modernization, and the realization of a well-off society. At present, the left-behind elderly mainly face difficulties in economic support, spiritual comfort, physical health, daily life care, and other aspects. In this paper, the plight of the left-behind elderly is solved through the development of agricultural production, the improvement of the social security, the establishment of community social organizations, cultivation of local social work talents, social workers' case guidance, and other ways to solve from the perspective of township social work station construction at the government level, community level, and family and individual level.
