认知神话学:当代神话研究的科学范式

摘要/Abstract

摘要： 认知神话学是从神话角度探讨人类认知能力的一门科学,也是对19世纪将神话与科学对立做法的一种反驳。认知神话学探讨的前提乃是,神话首先是思维与意识的产物,具有认知科学的研究价值。在具体的内容上,认知神话学倾向于探讨神话思维与结构、社会秩序,以及权力的象征体系等方面的内容。学者们试图证明神话为理性与逻辑的产物,也是人类对世界的真实体验与感知,神话因而与科学必然是相容的。20世纪后半叶,因与认知考古学频繁互动,神话学认知研究与文明探源话题有叠合之处,亦使得认知神话学转向实证式的科学研究。

Abstract: Cognitive mythology is a new approach that explores human cognitive ability from the perspective of myth, with the aim to refute the practice of opposing on myth and science in the 19th century. The premise of the cognitive mythology is that myth is the product of thinking and consciousness so that it has the research value of cognitive science. Many schools of cognitive mythology tendto explore thethought and the structure of myths, the social order of myths, and the symbolic system of power. Whatthey try to prove is that myth is the product of reason and logos whichmakes it prove to bethe human experience and perception of the world, then myth simply must be compatible withscience. The frequent interaction between cognitive mythology and cognitive archaeology caused the convergent opinions of topic on origins of civilization, which also made cognitive mythology turn tothe empirical research of science in the second half of the 20th century.
