Abstract: Red resources are ideological and political education resources of quality. Xi Jinping is engaged in a high level concerning with the future of the country and proposes many ideas, literary theories and instructions of using red resources to carry out ideological and political education for cadres, masses and young students, namely, the important exposition on red education. The exposition on red education inherently includes learning red history as the ideological basis, carrying forward the red spirit as the practice requirement, inheriting fine traditions as the main content, inheriting red genes, and spreading red culture as the value pursuit. It is the scientific guide and basic code to carry out the practice of red education with the guidance of both the thought of value and the practice of methodology.
