Abstract: The supply-front structural reform aims to rectify the dislocation between supply and demand structure and misallocation of factors by means of reforms, not only solving contradictions and problems arising from effective supply and market demand changes in the process of Chinese economic development, but also serving education development difficulty with the effective guidance and reference. The paper explores the connotation and origin of the supply-front structural reform, social economic transition development and internal demands of higher education reform and adjustment, and further analyzes current higher education issues in Yunnan that show structure and layout under optimization, unmatched talent cultivation with social requirements, scale and quality benefits remaining to be improved, etc. It is attempted to construct an effective way for supply-front structural reform to Yunnan higher education by updating development philosophy, innovating systems and mechanisms, optimizing structural layout and factors allocation, upgrading quality, etc Supply-Front .
