Abstract: From the overall requirement of new rural construction put forward at the Fifth Plenary Session of the Sixteenth Central Committee to the strategy of Rural Revitalization put forward at the Nineteenth National Congress, The important role of rural culture in promoting rural construction has been re-recognized. In today's vigorously advocating the development of cultural undertakings and cultural industries, large cultural households in rural areas have become the main force to promote the construction of rural cultural positions point-by-point and face-to-face because they are closest to the advantages of the peasant masses.Recently, Qujing has been actively supporting farmers to engage in literary and artistic performances. By taking sustaining rural cultural households as a breakthrough point, cultural restucturing as the driving force, government leading, marketing operation, social participation and farmers’ self-management as the working mode, and actively supporting cultural industries, such as farmers' literary performance, film projesting, internet service and traditional culture producing, to help promoting the rural cultural family. The development of rural cultural households not only innovates the form of rural culture, enriches the content of rural culture, creates a strong atmosphere of rural culture, but also promotes the construction of rural culture. Based on the investigation of Zhoushang Villagers’ group in Heping village, Yuezhou town, Qilin district, this paper explores the role of large rural cultural households in promoting the construction of a rural customs and folkway.
