Abstract: ：In recent years, the construction of characteristic towns has boomed in China. In the process of new urbanization, the key to the development of characteristic towns is its function and quality as a modern urban public space. The possibility of promoting the development of new urbanization and the development of modern urban public space have been systematically analyzed through a case study of Qilin Romantic Town, and problems in the aspects of human urbanization, industry adapting to the development of urbanization and the attraction of public space have been found. As a characteristic town of modern urban public space, it has an important role in promoting the construction of new urbanization Therefore, this paper makes an analogy analysis of other characteristic towns, trying to promote the project of Qilin Romantic Town as a public space to further promote the new urbanization construction of Qujing and provide reference for the construction of other characteristic towns.
