Community Governance and Social Work Intervention for the Relocation of Poverty Alleviation

Abstract

Abstract: As a dual strategy of poverty management and ecological protection in China, relocation of poverty alleviation from other places has contributed an important force to the overall victory of poverty alleviation in China. However, there are still many problems and dilemmas in the construction and development of relocation communities for poverty alleviation from other places. A case study of the Mucheng community in Huize County, Yunnan Province based on the needs of the community comprehensively presents the practice process of social work in the Mucheng community, and explores the governance model of the relocation community assisted by social work to alleviate poverty in other places.
