Abstract: In the song dynasty, the interest in tea and the worship of tao were a pair of literary phenomena closely related to each other. Moreover, tao yuanming set an example for neo-confucianists in the song dynasty, found the connection between the nature of tea and the essence of life in the cup, and transformed it into a unique aesthetic experience, which had a great impact on the creation of poetry. Under the dual guidance of wenyuan and runlin, the light spirit of tao's poems was fully absorbed into the song poems, and the poetry was wrapped in tea, so that the song poems derived different aesthetic tastes from the tang poems, expanded and deepened the expressive content and form of the poems, and contributed to the formation of song tunes.
