Abstract: Under the influence of Marx's anti-poverty thought, based on China's national conditions, Mao Zedong proposed that institutional innovation is the premise, education is the foundation, productivity is the main theme, industrialization and modernization are the anti-poverty theory that realizes the path and takes the interests of the people as the starting point. After the democratic revolution, During the period of socialist transition and construction, the anti-poverty thinking with Chinese characteristics has gradually formed. Under the guidance of Mao Zedong's anti-poverty thinking, China's anti-poverty cause has achieved remarkable achievements in politics, economy and culture. Mao Zedong's anti-poverty thought inherited and developed Marx's anti-poverty thought, and provided enlightenment for the battle to overcome poverty. At the moment, the Communist Party of China needs to learn from the experience of Mao Zedong's anti-poverty thinking practice, give full play to China's institutional advantages, take people as the center, respect objective laws, comprehensively carry out economic construction, promote overall social progress, and further carry out accurate poverty alleviation work to win poverty. Fighting hard and building a well-off society in an all-round way.
