Abstract: Based on the survey on the implementation of the Targeted poverty alleviation in longqing town of shizong county , found in precise poverty alleviation work to promote the region exist the following problems: one is poverty area is wide ,with deeper poverty,, poverty farmers apparent return rate is highg , and the idea of poor relief is negative; Second, the process of industrial development and easy relocation is slow,and the cooperation rates of farmers is low. Thirdly, it neglects the effective utilization and excavation of the unique cultural values of ethnic minorities, and fails to adapt to local conditions. Therefore, from the perspective of social work, this paper explores the countermeasures of social work in the promotion of targeted poverty alleviation in ethnic minority areas, advocates the concept of active poverty alleviation, and realizes “helping people help themselves”. Focusing on advantages and expanding the channel of industrial development; It highlights the cultural values of ethnic minorities and enhances their cultural awareness.
