Abstract: The unique sentimental poetry style of Nalan Xingde becomes increasingly important in poetry study of late Qing dynasty as well as modern times. The study on sentimental poetry style of Nalan Xingde enriches our exploration to Chinese poetry in terms of sentimental poetry style's preliminary affirmation, deeper understanding in the perspective of western aesthetics and comprehension of its tragic implication.
