The Current Situation and Improvement Strategies of Professional Identity of Rural Teachers in Yunnan Province ——A survey based on 3078 rural teachers

Abstract: A survey was conducted on the current status of professional identity among rural teachers in Yunnan to find that the overall level of professional identity among rural teachers in Yunnan is relatively high. Differences in factors such as teaching experience, professional title, educational background, and whether they are a teacher affect the level of professional identity among rural teachers. Enhancing the professional identity level of rural teachers in Yunnan can increase the publicity efforts for rural teachers and enhance their social status; Give full play to the important role of rural teachers in rural revitalization, and stimulate their sense of social responsibility; Ensure the welfare and benefits of rural teachers, attach importance to humanistic care, and improve job satisfaction; Seize the critical stage of teacher career development and provide multiple ways to support the growth of rural teachers.
