Abstract: Community Governance plays a fundamental role in the national governance system. Social work is an important topic and important means of innovative community governance. However,in the existing studies, it is rarely analyzed from the operational approach. Based on participatory observations and interviews of community governance projects, social workers,and clients,this article explores the specific ways in which social work participates in community governance innovation, put forward a systematic and operable innovation approach of”modernization concept, diversified subjects, professional methods, project-oriented participation”. It helps to give play to professional advantages of social work, innovate grassroots community governance, and help improve the social governance system.
