Abstract: Benedict Anderson imagined community, showing his national research paradigm perspective. He focused on from the origin of the concept of ethnic groups, with the official perspective of the relationship between nationalism and patriotism, from different aspects to study the development of the nation as the imagined community is facing the future, which differs from other researchers nationalism. This article to this, dick, Anderson's research and analyze the theory construction, from the perspective of academic horizon, and compared with other scholars such as Ruth Benedict, Edward w. orientalist is a comparative study of theory, explore the imagined community of the causes of the formation of the theory, the imagined community of theoretical connotation and its construction and religious and ethnic as imagined community of the difference between other imagined community and its characteristics, such as, deeply analyze the deep meaning of this theory.
