Abstract: Any form of language must be influenced by other language within multi-culture background either refusal or taking in to develop it harmoniously. Openness and blocking presented in the development and evolution process of Bai Language System in Heqing are not only the essential cause to promote Bai language moving forward while maintaining its indigenous aspects, but also the harmony language components in blending of multi-culture. The long-term contact between the Bai nationality and Han nationality cultures and languages in Heqing area has resulted in the benign language competition and complementarity between Bai and Chinese, which has created a harmonious language ecology for Bai and Chinese in Heqing area.
