Abstract: As the population ages, the number of elderly people has increased dramatically, and the problem of providing for the aged has become increasingly highlighted. Dealing with the problem of providing for the aged is a matter of people’s livelihood, and it is related to the construction of a harmonious society, the development of rural revitalization, and the establishment of a well-off society in an all-round way. By investigating and analyzing the development of the aged care service industry in Qujing and problem of providing for the aged in rural areas of Qujing, this paper explores the ideas and countermeasures for solving the problem of old-age care in rural areas of Qujing, and provides improvement measures for this problem, thus promoting the improvement of the rural old-age service system.
