Abstract: The educational level of international student education in colleges and universities represents the internationalization level of a school. More and more colleges and universities gradually realize the importance of international student education in higher education. The art education in international student education has not received the attention it deserves. This paper discussed the significance of art education in the international students education in colleges and universities and the current situation of art education in international students education in colleges and universities, and then put forward the following suggestions, namely, colleges and universities should enhance the awareness of art education for international students; colleges and universities should pay adequate attention to the art education of international students; colleges and universities should build a systematic and complete curriculum system for art education, etc.
