基于语料库的高中英语学习者虚化动词搭配研究——以do, make, take为例

摘要: 以中国学习者英语语料库中的高中生子库(ST2)为语料,就高中英语学习者对do, make, take这三个虚化动词的搭配使用情况展开研究,结果表明,学习者倾向使用课堂教学中被当成固定词组来呈现和讲授且在语义上比较简单明了的搭配,或是出现频率高的搭配;此外,学习者对这三个虚化动词虚化用法的搭配虽有一定程度的掌握,但仍存在一些不足,表现为高频地使用虚化程度较低、固定程度较高的搭配。这一研究结果对于搭配教学的改进与完善具有启示意义。

Abstract: Based on the ST2 of Chinese Learner English Corpus, the paper studies the use of collocations of three delexical verbs: do, make and take, by the English learners in the senior high school. The results show that the learners tend to use the semantically simple collocations that are often considered as the phrases during the process of teaching. The learners demonstrate some command of the delexicalized usage, but it is not satisfactory, as they frequently use less delexicalized and highly-fixed collocations. The findings have some implications for improving collocation teaching
