Abstract: Exploration of the coordination level of population, economic and resource environment is helpful for the sustainable development of Guizhou. Quantitative method is applied in this paper to evaluate and analyze the coordination development degree of the population, economic and resource environment in Guizhou . Results show that in the given period the coordination degree in Guizhou dropped from a high level to a level of slight imbalance and has gone through a process of “high coordination-slight imbalance-relative coordination”, corresponding to the increasing trend of coordination level of population, economy and resource environment in Guizhou in the wake of a disorder. In order to promote the coordinated development of population, economy and resource environment in Guizhou, some countermeasures are put forward such as population quantity control and economic restructuring.
