Abstract: In order to deal with the challenges from the transformation and upgrading of the tourism, the economic transformation and sustainable development of cites, comprehensive tourism emerges. At the end of 2016, Yuanmou County in Yunnan Province, with its unique natural landscapes, relics, historical and cultural resources, has become a comprehensive tourism demonstration county. However, there are still some problems in its tourism development under the background of mass tourism, such as low resource utilization, low degree of correlation among industries, backward tourism industry model, weak infrastructure construction and others. Based on a comprehensive analysis of the types, distribution and characteristics of tourism resources in Yuanmou County, this paper discusses the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and competitive threats of Yuanmou County based on SWOT so as to determine the positioning of its tourism products and build a new model of comprehensive tourism from the perspective of “tourism +” industrial integration.
