Abstract: In the 21^st century, the composition of Chinese ancient literature history is confronted by “picture reading”, “visual culture”, “Internet +” and other changes, which requires the ancient literary writing to adhere to the literary tradition, but also keep up with the times. Therefore, it is a big challenge as well as a great opportunity. In 2015, The Biography of Chinese Literature edited by Zheng Sili was published.Its composition is very innovative since it holds the concept of “Tell history by biography while integrate history with literature”, takes “Desk reading”as the aim, uses serial novel as the form and makes tourism culture a part of it. However, in the era of “Internet + ”, the composition of literature history in the 13^th Five-year Plan still has a long way to go.
