石灰改良红粘土物理性质及微观结构研究

Physical Properties and Microstructure Study of Improving Red Clay with Lime

摘要: 以红粘土为研究对象,采用X衍射试验、击实试验、自由膨胀试验、塑液限试验、直剪试验研究了0%、1%、3%、5%、7%、9%石灰掺量下红粘土物理力学性质.研究结果表明,石灰能降低红粘土自由膨胀率,3%掺量石灰抑制红粘土膨胀性效果最好.石灰掺量3%是红粘土抗剪强度突变点;石灰掺量小于3%,掺灰率对红粘土力学性质影响剧烈;石灰掺量大于3%,即使加入大剂量石灰,亦不能显著改良红粘土物理及力学性质.最后,通过SEM试验研究了改良红粘土强度增长机理.

Abstract: A series of laboratory tests were conducted on the improvement of red clay with lime at different lime contents to obtain the variation rules of physical properties,mechanical properties,and water stability.Combined with the action mechanism of lime to improved red clay,the engineering characteristics of the improved red clay with lime were analyzed.The results showed that lime can significantly improve the physical properties,mechanical properties,and water stability of the red clay.It is recommended that the reasonable lime content should be 3%.The lime content of 3% is a mutation point of the shear strength of red clay.When the lime content is less than 3%,the lime content has a strong effect on the mechanical properties of red clay.When the lime content is more than 3%,even if a large amount of lime is added,the physical and mechanical properties of the red clay cannot be significantly enhanced.Finally,the SEM experiment is used to study the strength growth mechanism of the improved red clay.
