Abstract: The Shu-Han copper coins were the most types ,the largest quantity, and the most widely distributed as well as throughout the Shu-Han Kingdom in the new copper coins of the period can be determined so far which revealed during the Three Kingdoms period, only Shu-Han had abundant supply of copper material. The reason for this was because of the unprecedented development of the South that just located in the Sichuan-Yunnan copper belt, where the copper resources was exploited on a larger scale as well as the smelting technicians and copper technicians were concentration in Shu-Han during the Three Kingdoms period which brought up it the copper and copper coin center of that times. On the one side, combined with Su-brocade industry and the policy of salt and iron, we can see that the copper coin still played an important role in its economic system which should not be such as the Japanese scholar Mr. Kinuma Yohei said only the private economy means of communication. Actually the copper coin and brocade had become the important strategic materials for filling the shortage of food, so as to provide economic support for the war. Therefore the economic model of Shu-Han perhaps can be expressed as the National Economy model under the drive of war, which was different from the characteristics of increasing the land reclamation and food savings of Wei and Wu Kingdom’s war economy.
