Abstract: The subjectivity of Chinese culture refers to the conscious awareness, confidence, and initiative of the Chinese nation and its people engaging with Chinese culture. The formation of the subjectivity of Chinese culture is the result of multiple factors working together. The formation of the subjectivity is rooted in the historical accumulation of China’s five-thousand-year civilization, awakened by the profound impact of the modern national crisis, developed through the cultural practices led by the Communist Party of China, and ultimately consolidated in the cultural identity of the people. In the new era, strengthening cultural subjectivity holds significant importance, helping individuals recognize themselves amidst the waves of globalization, reinforce national unity, cultivate cultural confidence in the new era, and thereby promote the in-depth advancement of China-style modernization and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Grasping the direction of cultural leadership and construction, promoting the inheritance and innovative development of culture, and establishing a system of cultural interaction and integration will consolidate the subjectivity of Chinese culture. A profound analysis of the formation logic, value significance, and practical pathways of Chinese cultural subjectivity can aid in steering the direction and innovating methods in cultural construction in the new era, effectively enhancing the spiritual appeal, cultural cohesion, value convergence, and contemporary influence of Chinese culture.
