Abstract: The Communist Party of China (CPC) in the new era has taken the cultural mission bravely, and continuously promoted the innovation of the theory and practice of socialist cultural construction with Chinese characteristics, among which the consolidation of cultural subjectivity with “two combinations” effectively responds to and solves the “ancient and modern questions”, “Chinese and foreign questions”, and “multiple questions” of culture. The “two combinations” is an important initiative to consolidate cultural subjectivity and effectively respond to and solve the “ancient and modern questions”, “Chinese and foreign questions”, and “multiple questions” of culture. Firstly, the “two combinations” point out the source power of consolidating cultural subjectivity in the new era. Secondly, the five aspects of cultural self-awareness, cultural self-confidence, cultural self-reflection, cultural self-activity and cultural self-improvement have built up an internal system for consolidating cultural subjectivity in the new era. Finally, the unity of cultural righteousness and cultural innovation, the unity of civilization exchanges and civilization mutual learning, and the unity of cultural leadership and cultural popularity have been established.
